Igniting change

Deborah Jorritsma is a gifted prophetic speaker, teacher, and trainer with an anointing to ignite, encourage, and equip individuals, churches, and nations in the direction of the Lord’s will and purpose for them.

Over the years, Deborah has ministered in several different capacities, leading and developing programs within the body of Christ. After serving as a worship leader for more than 30 years, God revealed to her that it was time to walk in her calling as a prophetic minister, trainer, coach and speaker.

Recently the Lord has led Deborah to go into full time ministry. In obedience to His Word and after confirmation through several of His prophets, Deborah has now launched Magnify.

Prophetic

After being raised in a Christian home, Deborah made a personal choice to follow Christ at the age of 21. Shortly after, she was filled with the Holy Spirit and started to move in gifts of prophecy and words of insight and knowledge. She felt the grace of God on her life to prophesy, encourage, and direct people with words the Lord spoke through her, and has been developing her prophetic gift ever since.

Family life

Deborah was born in Canada to Dutch/New Zealander parents. She moved together with her family to New Zealand at the age nine. In 1988, Deborah met her ‘rock’ of a husband Harry in the Netherlands during a backpacking trip. Deborah answered the call of God, and together they decided to stay and live in the Netherlands.

Deborah and Harry have resided here for thirty-four years, and they have four adult daughters. They are very family orientated, and this family increases further with their daughters’ husbands, whom they experience as their inherited sons. They have three grandchildren and the family continues to expand.

Purpose Journey

Deborah is trained as a registered nurse and started her career in New Zealand. She has since then worked in several Dutch hospitals. In her profession she has studied in areas such as oncology, pain management, student mentoring, geriatrics, and diagnostic consultancy. She also had her own practice as a purpose driven behavioral coach, where through her coaching methods people developed a healthy mindset and made life altering changes towards their design and purpose. She is driven to help others be the best they can be, discover their identity, strength, uniqueness and then to equip them in how to walk in victory and purpose.

In 2022 she went into full time ministry, answering the call of God. This has resulted in her launching Magnify. Magnify is a prophetic ministry that helps people find their true calling and identity, so that they start to shape the world around them according to God’s design.

Magnify is a rising prophetic ministry to individuals, groups, and nations and serves as the platform from which Deborah brings life, direction, and hope. Magnify’s purpose is to magnify the Lord, His heart, His purpose, and desires for people and nations.

Magnify will help you discover the call that’s on your life. By magnifying His purpose for you, you will walk in your destiny and design with more clarity and confidence, shaping the world around you according to God’s plan.

Mission

Magnify activates and ignites believers in Jesus Christ, Son of The Living God, who want more meaning and fulfillment, to find their purpose and to give tools to walk in their calling. By encouraging and stimulating excellence, positivity and being your own unique color. To know the fullness of God; where everyone lives to their full potential bringing positive change to societies and nations.

Vision

This will change environments and systems into places where:

Everyone is living out his or her potential in accordance with God’s calling
Everyone is positioned perfectly to walk and prosper in their purpose
Everyone lives a full life
Everyone is equipped to deal with all challenges of life.
All creation is functioning according to God’s design

Core Team

Harry and Deborah have been an inseparable team for almost 34 years, serving the body of Christ in different capacities. Their aim is to see God’s heart and purpose grow in the hearts and lives of others. Training, mentoring, coaching, and equipping, whether it be their workplace or within in their calling in the church body. Throughout their lives they have carried and inspired each other to be all that the Lord has created them to be. “When one of us is called to do something, we both support and carry it, carry one another.”

Together they make a strong apostolic/prophetic team. Using their gifts and skills that have brought Magnify into existence, God inspiring their hearts to be obedient and passionate to His call in activating and equipping others to walk in Gods purpose in all spheres of life.

Magnify the Lord

God has a plan for a perfectly functioning world. As believers, this is what we should reach and strive towards. Magnify exists to change and shape society and bring unity among people and nations in accordance with God’s heart.
